BECOME A MEMber

 

The number one reason to join our PTSA `Ohana is to benefit your keiki. In doing so, you also help our school. But there are many more advantages to joining:

• Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school. 

                                                             

• Discover Great Resources. Our PTSA `Ohana offers a variety of programs designed for parents and students.                                 

• Tap into a Network. PTSA `Ohana functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.  Also, the PTSA `Ohana coordinates a weekly school newsletter, information fliers and social media in order to keep the entire school community informed of current events, issues, and accomplishments. Monthly Membership Meetings allow the PTSA `Ohana to share information with members.                                                                                                                                                                                  

• Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with our PTSA `Ohana, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause—your keiki and all the keiki in the school. Our PTSA `Ohana organizes hard-working, dedicated volunteers. Involved parents understand the challenges schools face and become part of the solution.                                                                                                                                                                                     

• Have a Voice. PTSA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.                                     

• Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTSAs play an important role by supporting improvements through advocacy and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum-based programs and social events.
